Our Mission

As an accredited institution, CEP’s mission is to provide quality-oriented educational programs that increase students’ knowledge, improve their skills, and foster critical thinking in an efficient, timely, and economical manner. In addition, the ESL program will help you to transition to your future professional field or to an academic institution of your choice.

The Benefits of Studying English at CEP

  • SMALL CLASSESGenerally, we have 8-15 students per class, as opposed to 20+ students per class, which is often the case of ESL programs at community colleges or universities.
  • SCHOLARSHIPSIn an effort to create a diverse student population in the Intensive English Program (ESL 100-500) at California School of Health Science, the institution adopted a scholarship program to encourage international students to attend CSHS and be part of a vibrant diverse population. This scholarship is offered to all current students, new students, and students transferring in from other institutions, regardless of their nationality or language.
  • Scholarship Qualifications:
    • The student is holding a valid F-1 or current resident
    • A Student must apply by submitting the “Scholarship Application Form”.
    • The student maintains a GPA of 2.0 or “C” grade.
    • In good academic standing and attendance (>80%).
    • Current with his/her student account.

    Scholarship Fund:

The tuition credit will be awarded at the end of the first term if the student meet the above criteria.

Scholarship amount: $1000 per student per term and not to exceeding four terms (Currently, the total annual general funds budget available for the diversity scholarship program is $60,000). The availability of the Diversity Scholarship Program and total fund available will be evaluated on a yearly basis. Once the annual general funds budget has been reached, the institution will close the scholarship application for the rest of current calendar year and no application will be closed.

CSHS scholarships will credit to the student’s account no earlier than the first day of class each term. These awards are made possible from general funds budgeted each year with approval of the CSHS management.

  • CONDITIONAL AGREEMENTS WITH AREA COLLEGESWe have articulation agreements with many colleges. Upon completion of the CEP ESL program, students are accepted to colleges and universities in place of the TOEFL or other required standardized English proficiency tests.
  • TOP RATED FACULTYWe conduct teacher evaluations every term for quality control of our faculty. CEP instructors hold college degrees and have extensive experience teaching English as a Second Language.
  • GREAT SERVICEOur school specializes in catering to academically focused international students and we have less students per administrator ratio so that we can better cater to the needs of our students.
